The Avocado Show | 9.3

If you’re a fan of avocados, you’ve probably heard of restaurant the Avocado Show. This restaurant is  based in Amsterdam, has been making waves in the foodie community ever since it opened its doors. And for good reason – everything on the menu features the beloved green fruit.

I’ve been wanting to visit the Avocado Show ever since it was announced, but unfortunately it was always out of my way. However, I finally had the chance to try it out, and it did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the restaurant’s Instagram-worthy decor – think green velvet chairs, pink neon signs, and, of course, plenty of avocados.

The menu is creative, featuring everything from avocado toast to avocado burgers to avocado fries to drinks. I chose the avocado burger, the avocado was uses as bun which made it hard to eat, but it was absolutely delicious, and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming.

Of course, no visit to the Avocado Show would be complete without trying one of their avocado cocktails. I went for the “Avo Margarita,” which featured avocado puree, tequila, and lime juice. It was surprisingly refreshing and not too sweet, making it the perfect accompaniment to my meal.

Overall, I have to say that the Avocado Show is definitely worth the hype. The concept is great, but the execution is even better. The food is delicious, the drinks are inventive, and the atmosphere is fun and funky. If you’re ever in Amsterdam and looking for a unique dining experience, be sure to check it out – just be prepared for a wait, as the restaurant is understandably popular.
