Parao73 Restaurante | 8.5

At Parao73 Restaurante, we embarked on a culinary journey that transported us to the heart of Italy through their exceptional pizza. At Parao73 they served traditional napolitan pizza’s, but also some more adventures options. We opted for the Pizza Carbonara and the Pizza Pistachio with Burrata, both of which promised a delightful twist on traditional pizza and we had absolutely no regrets.

The pizzas arrived with soft, fluffy crusts that perfectly captured the essence of Neapolitan-style pizza. The Pizza Carbonara was a creamy delight with pancetta, eggs and cream (unfortunately they didn’t use guanciale which most often is used in pasta carbonara) but this minor deviation didn’t detract from the overall experience. The creamy, rich flavors melded together beautifully, creating a pizza that was both comforting and indulgent. On the other hand, the Pizza Pistachio offered a perfect balance of textures and flavors, with crushed pistachios adding a subtle crunch, while the creamy burrata brought a luscious creaminess to each bite. Both pizzas were out of this world, a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to quality and creativity.

The restaurant’s interior was as appealing as the food with its marble and gold design all over the restaurant, featuring a cheese counter, a wine counter, a half-open kitchen, and a stunning cocktail bar. This chic and modern décor provided a visually pleasing backdrop to our meal, and the half-open kitchen allowed us to catch glimpses of the culinary action, adding an extra layer of excitement to our dining experience. The cocktail bar, in particular, stood out with its elegant setup, inviting guests to watch their drinks being prepared, which would have been a treat if the bar had been fully operational that day.

However, we did encounter some service hiccups during our visit, like how we initially ordered cocktails but were later informed they couldn’t be prepared since the bar men wasn’t working at the bar that day. Additionally, our starters never arrived, and when we inquired about them, there was confusion about the menu contents. This was a bit disappointing, as we were looking forward to sampling their drink menu. These service issues were unfortunate, but they didn’t overshadow the fantastic quality of the food itself.

In summary, Parao73 Restaurante offered an exceptional pizza experience reminiscent of Naples, despite the service challenges. The taste of their amazing pizza left a lasting impression, making us eager to return for another slice of pizza in their pizza paradise. The restaurant’s chic interior and innovative pizza offerings make it a must-visit for pizza lovers, though we hope that the service issues are addressed in the future to ensure a consistently top-notch dining experience.
