A delicious breakfast or a midday snack in Catania, you will find at restaurant Opera Prima. This charming café serves up some of the best croissants you’ll find in the city, with both sweet and savory fillings that are sure to satisfy your cravings.
One croissant in particular that stood out to me was the cream cheese and salmon filling. It was the perfect balance of creamy and salty flavors, and the croissant itself was flaky and buttery. But if salmon isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other options to choose from, such as prosciutto and cheese or chocolat.
In addition to their croissants, Opera Prima also offers delicious cannelloni and the most beautifull pies. And of course, no visit to Opera Prima would be complete without trying their coffee, which is expertly prepared and sure to give you the boost you need to start your day.
Their Salmon croissant and the canneloni where our favorite items, but if we ever get a chance we would definitely come back to try all of the other delicious items that where laying in the vitrine.

Overall, I highly recommend stopping by this fantastic place for a breakfast or midday snack. The croissants are amazing, and the sweet and savory snacks are just as tasty. So if you find yourself in Catania, be sure to add Opera Prima to your list and ofcourse drink a cappuchino for breakfast.
