Their fries are extremely crispy and tasty since they use their own spice mix on them. They are also served with 30 days fremented garlic sauce wich makes them even more special. They are opened daily from 12:00 – 22:00/ 23:00 which makes it the perfect place for lunch, snack, diner or a late night snack adventure.

There are always fresh and in the most surprising flavors like white chocolate an kinder bueno or chocolate and M&M’s. Before learning about Little Tokyo I hadn’t had a bento box before, but there boxes are extremely tasty and worth the try. I haven’t had grilled salmon in a while since I got bored of the tasty, but they brought it to a new level.
- Sandwiches and bubble tea at Chun Café: At Chun they serve 5 different Toasts that all taste amazing. You can choose between egg salad, tofu puff, bacon, egg and cheese, Garlic, shrimp and egg and last, but not least, their famouse Rib eye Bulgogi. The toasts are huge and definitely filling. Therefore the sandwiches from Chun are a must try snack when you’re in Amsterdam.

Grilled cheese, burgers and Sando’s at Paindemie: Pain de Mie is what the French call their white toasted bread. It resembles Japanese milk bread which has a bit of sweetness to it. At Paindemie the bread is the star of the menu. They serve smash burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches and French toast. Their burger meat is unique since wthey serve Dutch goat meat, which isn’t something that is served often in the Netherlands. Their sauces and condiments are homemade which makes it even more unique.
- Onigiri Ya! is a quaint shop with a few tables offering Japanese rice balls (called onigiri), miso soup, packaged snacks, and drinks. They boast a selection of 10 onigiri varieties featuring fish, meat, or veggies. Open daily from 11:00 to 20:00 or until sold out, it’s a must-visit for those with a penchant for Japanese snacks.
