Mangia Pizza | 8.3

Building upon our previous delightful encounter with their neighboring pasta restaurant, Mangia Pastabar, we decided to go on an adventure trying their renowned pizzas.

Our first rendezvous with the flavors of Italy was at Mangia Pastabar, an enchanting pasta haven where we were treated to a true Italian experience. The warmth of the Italian staff, the attention to detail, and the impeccable food and wine offerings left an indelible mark on our palates. It was an encounter that set the stage for our journey to Pizza restaurant Mangi.

Stepping into Mangia Pizza, we were greeted with the same genuine hospitality that had charmed us during our previous visit. The comforting ambiance immediately put us at ease, knowing we were in for another memorable dining experience.

Our anticipation heightened as we settled into our seats – a prime location right next to the oven where the pizzas emerged, bubbling and tempting, straight from the flames. The sight of the pizzas in the making and the amazing smell got us even more excited to try these pizza’s.

A sip of the house red wine transported us back to the rustic vineyards of Italy, setting the tone for the feast that lay ahead. Our journey through Mangia Pizza’s culinary delights began with fried ravioli – a delightful appetizer that combined crispy perfection with a burst of rich, flavorful fillings. The bresaola carpaccio followed suit, a symphony of textures and tastes that paid homage to the delicate balance of Italian cuisine.

The stars of the evening, however, were the pizzas. Each bite was a revelation, a harmonious union of fresh ingredients and expert craftsmanship. The quattro formaggi pizza, a homage to the rich cheese heritage of Italy, enveloped our palates with the creamy, cheesy flavors. The Calzone, Ricotta e Salame was another stand out dish. It just had everything we had hoped for.

Our pizza adventure at Mangia Pizza was more than just a meal; it was a journey through the heart and soul of Italian cuisine. The warmth of the staff, the perfection in each dish, and the authenticity of flavors reminded us why we fell in love with Italian fare in the first place. For those seeking a truly remarkable pizza experience in Amsterdam, Mangia Pizza is undoubtedly a destination not to be missed. As we left, sattisfied and content, we carried with us the promise of returning to this enchanting haven for yet another rendezvous with culinary perfection.
