Ladybird | 8.3

If you’re a fan of fried chicken and you happen to be in Amsterdam, Lady Bird fried chicken is a restaurant that you should definitely check out. Located in the De Pijp neighborhood, Lady Bird has been making waves for its delicious fried chicken, tasty sauces, and trendy ambiance. After hearing so much about it, we decided to give it a try and here is what we thought about it.

First things first, the restaurant can get pretty busy, so if you’re planning on going there, be prepared to wait in line. We tried to visit the restaurant on three different occasions, and the first time they had run out of chicken, which was a bummer. The other two time the line was way to long. The last time there was no one there which was great.

The chicken at Lady Bird is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and it comes with a variety of sauces that complement the flavor of the chicken perfectly. We tried the classic hot sauce, the blue cheese sauce and the mayple syrup. The chicken was definitely the highlight of our meal, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who loves fried chicken.

However, we have to admit that we were a bit disappointed with the mac and cheese. We had heard great things about it, but we found it to be a bit tasteless. It lacked the cheesy flavor that we were expecting, and we felt like it could have used some more seasoning. That being said, it was still a decent side dish, and we would probably order it again just to give it another try.

Overall, we had a great experience at Lady Bird. The restaurant has a trendy vibe, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The chicken is definitely the star of the show, and we would recommend it to anyone who loves fried chicken. The only downside is the long wait, so make sure you plan accordingly. If you’re willing to wait in line for a delicious meal, then Lady Bird is definitely worth a visit. We would give it a rating of 8.3 out of 10 stars.
