They have tables inside at the cheese train, so you can grab the cheeses you like from the cheese train, regular tables and tables on the terrace.

At De Kaasbar, you can choose from a wide range of cheeses to eat with your drink. You can go for a wine or beer, or if you’re feeling adventurous, why not try both? On our visit, we started with wine, but curiosity took it over so we switched to beer. Each cheese is paired perfectly with a recommended drink to bring out the best in both.

Some of the cheeses on offer are truly unique, such as the cheese with chocolate, but there are also some more familiar cheeses that you can find in your local supermarket. The bar also offers “droge worst,” or dry sausage, but we were a little disappointed with it as it wasn’t dried enough for our liking.

De Kaasbar is also located in Utrecht and often features on social deal sites with unlimited cheese eating for a certain number of hours. It’s a great way to sample a variety of cheeses and enjoy a fun evening with friends or family.
