Irodion | 9.3

Restaurant Irodion is a Greek restaurant located in Alkmaar, and it has been one of my favorites since I moved to the city. This restaurant has been situated at Waagplein since 1989 and is known for its warm atmosphere and friendly staff, most of whom are of Greek descent. In addition to its inviting ambiance, the restaurant is open 365 days a year, making it a reliable choice for a delicious meal anytime.

One thing that sets Irodion apart is its extensive menu. Many restaurants with large menus sacrifice quality for quantity, but that is not the case at Irodion. I have tried a variety of appetizers and main courses on multiple occasions, and I have never been disappointed no matter how bizzy it was at the restaurant, the service and the food where always great.

The service at Irodion is great, even during busy times. The staff is attentive to all customers, which is unfortunately not a given at many restaurants these days. Every meal at Irodion starts with a complimentary ice-cold glass of ouzo, making it a great way to kick off a relaxing evening.

Overall, this restaurant is a true gem in Alkmaar and a must-visit for anyone who loves Greek cuisine. The combination of delicious food and excellent service makes it one of my go-to restaurants in the city.

Let me know in the comment section if you have ever eaten at Irodion and what you experience was!
