We had the pleasure of dining at grand café by redbeef and were delighted by the fresh and unique options on the menu. One dish that stood out to us was the fresh filet american, which we had not seen before on the menu of any other restaurant we had visited.
In addition to the filet american, we also tried the steak tartare, which had a great balance of flavors. The steak tartare was perfect for those who love raw meat, it was also very fresh and the seasoning was spot on. The other meats we tried were also delicious and cooked to perfection, making it a great dining experience.
However, there was one aspect of the meal that did not quite live up to expectations – the red wine that was recommended to us. Unfortunately, it did not pair well with the meat dishes we had ordered which wa disappointing. We later discovered that the server who had recommended the wine was actually vegan and had little knowledge about which wines would complement our meat dishes.
Despite this small mistake, the service at the restaurant was great. The staff were so friendly. We were impressed by how quickly our orders were taken and served, given how busy the restaurant was.
All in all, we had a great time dining at this restaurant and would definitely return in the future. The unique menu offerings and delicious food more than make up for the small misstep with the wine recommendation. The atmosphere was great, the service was efficient and the food was delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
