In conclusion, Gewoon Lekker in Zaandam was a letdown. While the restaurant boasted a pleasant interior and the option for an almost private dinner on their balcony, these positives were overshadowed by the lackluster dining experience. The dishes lacked flavor, a far cry from the exceptional meals we had enjoyed at their restaurant in Hoorn. The service was non-existent, with slow and inattentive staff. Regrettably, we cannot recommend Gewoon Lekker in Zaandam, and we do not see ourselves returning to this establishment in the future.
