Amsterdam, a city known for its vibrant culture, picturesque canals, and eclectic culinary scene, has a new gem that stands out among the rest – Fresh Addicts Club (FAC). This trendy establishment has quickly become the go-to spot for those craving fresh, tasty, and nutritious food and drinks. Our recent visit to FAC left us delighted, as we explored their diverse menu and sampled some of their mouthwatering offerings.
Our culinary adventure at FAC began with the “Tuna Lovers” wrap and the “It’s a Sticky Situation” sandwich. The Tuna Lovers wrap was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, featuring spinach, rocket, tuna salad, avocado, roasted tomatoes, spring onion, and crunchy onion. Each bite was a burst of freshness, and the combination of ingredients left us craving for more. The It’s a Sticky Situation sandwich, while being delicious, had a minor hiccup. The pickled veggies were a bit too cold, causing the meat to cool down quickly. Nevertheless, the savory mix of spinach, beef rendang, sticky tempeh, sugar snaps, pickled cucumber, pickled red onion, bean sprouts, chili pepper, seroendeng, crispy onion, and soy peanut dressing was a taste sensation that made the chilly temperature easy to overlook, but I still prefer my fillings to be hot ofcourse!
No visit to FAC is complete without trying their nutrient-packed smoothies. The Rise and Shine smoothie, a perfect choice for fitness enthusiasts, blended banana, espresso, almond milk, cacao, and upfront protein. The delightful hint of coffee combined with the richness of banana and cacao made this smoothie a unique and energizing treat.
Another standout was the Orange Blast smoothie, a vibrant blend of curcuma, carrot, sweet potato, mandarin, and lime. The harmonious blend of these fresh ingredients created a refreshing and invigorating drink that left us feeling rejuvenated.
One of the highlights of FAC is its commitment to catering to diverse dietary preferences. Most items on the menu can be enjoyed as vegan alternatives, allowing guests to customize their orders. Whether it’s switching the beef rendang for vegan rendang or making other substitutions, FAC ensures that everyone can savor their delicious offerings.
