Nestled in 1 of Amsterdam-Zuid’s old neighborhoods, Clandestino is a brand new addition to the city’s vibrant dining scene. If you’re looking for a new culinary adventure, Clandestino promises an experience that is both intimate and deliciously unexpected.

First Impressions: A Warm Welcome

When I discovered Clandestino on Google Maps, I was intrigued by its unassuming presence and the only six reviews it had received. This sense of mystery provided more reason to visit quickly. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this was a place where the staff truly cares about your experience. Their warm hospitality and keen interest in our feedback were nice to see.

The Menu

Right now Clandestino is in the soft-launch phase and experimenting with its menu, so you won’t find a set selection on their website yet. However, this period of trial and refinement is proving to be an exciting time for customers. The menu we encountered included a delicious array of options, from basic breakfast dishes to more unusual dishes and a mix different flavors.

We went for the brioche with duck confit, which was a flavorfull option, make sure to check it out when you visit them!

The flexibility of the menu allows diners to craft their meals as extensive or as simple as they desire, making it perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner.

Sip and Savor: The Beverage Selection

Clandestino’s beverage menu is as carefully curated as their food offerings. They have a long list of signature cocktails that showcase both creativity and classic mixology. In addition to cocktails, there is a selection of beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages for every taste.

Ambiance: A Cozy Hideaway

Don’t let the dark windows fool you; although Clandestino appears closed from the outside, a step inside reveals a cozy and stylishly designed interior. The space is small, creating an intimate atmosphere perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or a romantic date. The decor is inviting, with a modern yet comfortable aesthetic that makes you feel right at home.
