We made a reservation on the same day, and luckily we did! By the time we arrived, the restaurant was completely packed. If you’re planning to dine here, it’s highly recommended to book a table in advance to avoid disappointment. The lively ambiance and the buzz of conversations instantly made it clear that Bacio Pizza is a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
An Extensive Pizza Menu:
One of the standout features of Bacio Pizza is its long list of pizzas. Whether you prefer classic flavors or something more adventurous, there’s something for everyone. After browsing the menu, we opted for two intriguing choices:
- Tropea – A spicy pizza featuring mozzarella, nduja (a spreadable Calabrian sausage known for its fiery kick), and other toppings.Tartufata di Norcia – A truffle-based pizza with gorgonzola, adding a rich and earthy flavor.
The pizzas arrived fresh from the oven, with a perfectly baked crust and well-balanced toppings. The Tropea had a nice heat level from the nduja, making it an excellent choice for those who enjoy a bit of spice. - The Tartufata di Norcia delivered a delicious umami punch, thanks to the truffle and gorgonzola combination.
While both pizzas were flavorful and well-made, they didn’t necessarily stand out as extraordinary. They were enjoyable but not groundbreaking. However, if you’re craving a solid pizza in Zaandam, you won’t be disappointed.
