Despite a hiccup with their Westerpark location, which was unexpectedly closed due to staff illness, our visit to their Van Woustraat venue turned out to be a delightful journey through a world of wines.
A Slight Detour Leads to a Hidden Gem
Our original plan was to visit Rayleigh & Ramsey in Westerpark, which according to Google Maps would be open. Upon arrival, however, it turned out to be closed. A quick phone call to their other location on Van Woustraat brought clarity: due to illness, the Westerpark location was temporarily closed and their opening days had changed. They acknowledged that this was misstated on Google Maps and assured us that they would update it soon.
Determined not to let this setback ruin our day, we headed to Van Woustraat. This turned out to have been a good decision,

- Burrata: This dish was disappointing as the burrata lacked the creamy texture one expects from this cheese.
